There was no fixed validated process until today. So we designed the »Chatbot-Personality-Design-Process« in our master thesis. It is part of the idea generation process and supports teams in developing a chatbot personality. This influences the perception of the interaction with the chatbot positively.The chatbot personality design process consists of five components, that are displayed on canvas. The result is a personality for a chatbot, that can be experienced through conversation segments. Each individual step can be repeated until it covers the initial idea.
